El Aceite de Oliva Virgen Extra "Cortijo de Don Miguel", procede de la molturación de aceituna de la variedad Picual. El 95% de la superficie de olivar en la provincia de Jaén, unas 560.000 Ha., está integrado por esta variedad. Al mismo tiempo, en nuestra provincia se obtiene cerca del 50% de la producción Andaluza, en torno al 40% de la Nacional, y casi el 20% de la mundial.
